Once your rug is at our Rug Wash Facility, we perform a 20-step inspection. After a thorough inspection of the rug, we feed it through a dusting machine that gently beats it, knocking the dirt off both the top and bottom of the rug. This cannot be accomplished if the area rug is cleaned in your home.
Next, the rug is placed in a giant tub that holds hundreds of gallons of water, and all the oils, spots, and odors that have built up on your rug will be slowly pushed out. During this part of the process, we ensure that Zero Residue® will be left behind. Unlike traditional rug cleaners, we can guarantee your rug will be Residue Free® because we don't use any harsh chemicals, soaps, or detergents. Our cleaning method guarantees you a cleaning that will last longer.
Following the wash process, we remove the moisture from the rug. To get all the water out of the rug as quickly as possible, we place it in a centrifuge that spins the rug around at a fast pace. Spinning gets about 95% of the water out of the rug before going into the final drying process where your rug will be placed inside an environmentally controlled room that will dry the rug completely within 24 hours.
We then give the area rug a through inspection and perform any additional cleaning procedures it may require, including, but not limited to fringe detail, spot cleaning, grooming, vacuuming, repairs, and proper packaging to get it safely back to your home.
